Maple Ridge launches first official clothing line with online store

Maple Ridge residents can now show off their hometown pride with the launch of the city’s first official public clothing line.
The collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, hats, toques, tote bags and seasonal limited-edition items, with designs highlighting the city’s “Bold By Nature” brand, inspired by the community’s natural beauty and identity.
“Maple Ridge is a place that people are proud to call home, and we regularly hear from residents who want more opportunities to show that pride,” Mayor Dan Ruimy said. “This new clothing collection gives people a fun and meaningful way to represent Maple Ridge while strengthening our sense of community and belonging.”
The launch comes as Maple Ridge continues to experience significant population growth and increased interest from new residents, businesses and visitors. City officials say the apparel line is part of broader efforts to build community connection and promote the city’s identity.
Current products available through the store include “Bold By Nature” T-shirts and hoodies, “I Love MR” T-shirts, Maple Ridge hats and toques, aprons, infant onesies, tote bags and accessories. The collection also includes limited-edition “Game On 2026” T-shirts celebrating this summer’s FIFA World Cup festivities.
Pardeep Purewal, the city’s senior manager of corporate communications and public engagement, said the collection is about more than just clothing.
“This is more than just merchandise – it’s an opportunity for residents to share their connection to Maple Ridge wherever they go,” Purewal said. “Whether you’re a long-time resident, new to the community, or someone who simply loves visiting Maple Ridge, there’s something for everyone.”
The new merchandise line is now available at the ACT Arts Centre Gift Shop and through the city’s new online store, MapleRidgeShop.ca.
The city said the online store will continue expanding throughout the year with new products, designs and special collections.
The apparel program is operated by Key Innovations, which was selected through a public request for proposals in 2024. The company is responsible for payment processing, production, shipping, returns and customer service for online purchases, while the city’s role is limited to brand oversight, approvals and promotional support.
