Ah, cherry blossom season, a time to herald spring and compete over who can stage the strangest photo shoot with the iconic flowers.
It feels like Vancouver often gets the spotlight for the cherry blossoms, with even some festivals event making the botanical their star, such as the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival and Sakura Days.
But there’s no need to head all the way to Vancouver to take in cherry blossoms. They are abound in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
