Residents were invited to pick up a 4×4 canvas from the library on Wednesday, March 1 and submit whatever they create, by Saturday, April 1.
All art techniques, including collage and painting, were acceptable.
The showcase opened on Thursday, April 6 in lieu of World Art Day, the inspiration behind the inception of the event.
All artworks will be displayed throughout April.
The library received 135 pieces this year from people of all ages.
Although we couldn’t verify the number from last year, a staff member shared that they gave out nearly 250 canvases in 2022.
